Normally i do not post food images on my Linkedin page. This is my first time. Enterprise Singapore was hosting a group of companies from #SEA in conjunction with the FHA-Food & Beverage event this week. I was in Food and Hotel Asia held at the Singapore Expo. Covering an area of 65000 sqm, there were over 1500 exhibitors from 50 countries participating and attended by more than 60000 people. I spent some time at the #Singapore Pavillion. It was a delightful experience. The sheer #diversity and #vibrancy of our culture showcased in the #food products exhibited was so exciting. Many of the companies were also reinventing themselves coming up with #healthier and more #sustainable products through #innovation. I was glad to connect and reconnect with so many Singapore companies and friends at the event. At the same time, i also noticed exhibitors from across the world participating in the event. They see #SEA with its growing population and more discerning taste as a major reason to venture here. They shared that through FHA, they are able to interact with many companies across South East Asia. Enterprise Singapore together with our partner Singapore Food Manufacturing Association hosted distributors from #Brunei, #Cambodia, #Indonesia, #Philippines, #Thailand and #Vietnam to dinner with our Singapore food manufacturers. (Mr Popiah Pte Ltd, Lim Kee, Tai Hua Food Industries Pte Ltd, You Tiao Man, Prima Food, Sin Mui Heng, Chee Seng Oil, Fragrance Foodstuff, Tat Hui Foods, Eastern Harvest, Gryphon Tea, Home's Favourite) The dinner was curated with Singapore food ingredients and products. I was amazed by the kaleidoscopic of colours and flavours coming through from our local cuisine. Therefore, the showcase of these products on this page. Sharon Tay Carmen L. Building partnerships in #vietnam’s water sector. We had flowing conversations on the back of the Singapore International Water Week roadshow in Hanoi that saw over 100 water sector leaders and media at the event. We met with key partners such as the Administration of Technical Infrastructure under the Ministry of Construction Vietnam, with whom we exchanged insights and discussed bilateral collaborations. Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association Chairman, Nguyen Ngoc Diep, provided valuable insights on how we can partner each other to support the growth of Singapore and Vietnam water companies. They would also be holding their Vietnam Water Week in November. Come find out more about opportunities in the sector!
