Strengthen enterprise capabilities to grow your business

Food Services and Retail Business Revitalisation Package
  • To provide additional support to enable food services and retail enterprises to accelerate digital and productivity efforts, build capabilities, transform their businesses, and hire and train more local workers
  • Package will be available from 1 Apr 2022 to 31 Mar 2023, and comprise three components:
    • Extension of the enhanced maximum support level for Productivity Solutions Grant for eligible pre-scoped solutions at 80%
    • Extension of the enhanced maximum support level for Enterprise Development Grant projects that support business model transformation at 80%
    • Enhanced support through the sector trade associations to train and hire local job seekers through programmes such as the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme and Career Conversion Programmes

Our Heartlands 2025 Programme
  • To help heartland merchants grow their revenue, boost their operational efficiency and attract more customers into the heartlands, enabling heartland merchants to stay relevant and competitive
  • Programme is developed by Enterprise Singapore and will focus on three areas:
    • Deepening digital capabilities and upskill the heartland workforce through initiatives such as the Heartlands Go Digital Programme and Visual Merchandising Programme
    • Upgrading capabilities of heartland Trade Associations and Chambers to amplify and multiply government initiatives through manpower support and internal digital capability development
    • Enhancing the liveliness of the heartlands through upgrading the precincts and stores, as well as organising events such as the Heartlands Festival, which will raise the profile of heartland merchants, and attract new customers to the heartlands

Singapore Global Enterprise (SGE) Initiative
  • To intensify efforts to identify, nurture and grow more promising local enterprises into Singapore Global Enterprises – enterprises that are locally grown and globally competitive
  • More bespoke and enterprise-centric assistance tailored to the specific needs and ambitions of enterprises with strong growth potential and global ambitions
  • Support will be enhanced in four ways: (a) developing global-ready executives; (b) creating new corporate ventures; (c) facilitating mergers & acquisitions; and (d) creating enhanced access to financing
  • One area of support is the Singapore Global Executive Programme (SGEP) – a bespoke programme that supports selected local enterprises with global ambitions in three ways:
    • Providing expertise: Provides dedicated support and guidance to enterprises, such as access to human resource expertise and benchmarking data, to help enterprises strengthen their human capital capabilities and elevate their talent management practices
    • Branding partnership: Supports enterprises in their branding and outreach efforts to position them as attractive employers offering exciting career opportunities
    • Curating a holistic talent development programme: Works with enterprises to create a curated career development pathway and expose young local talent to growth opportunities, and provides support to build in-house HR team to implement talent development programmes

Trade 2030 Strategy
  • To grow Singapore’s trading volume, widen the types of trading activities that takes place in Singapore, and expand trade with other parts of the world
  • To strengthen the ecosystem of trading companies, and support them through facilitative trade infrastructure:
    • To boost efforts in attracting leading global traders and anchoring more of their upstream, downstream, and innovation activities in Singapore, thereby providing platforms for other Singapore enterprises to expand overseas
    • To accelerate efforts to grow a strong core of Singapore Global Traders – locally-grown traders that command global scale and are highly innovative
  • To build a workforce with skills and knowledge to take on attractive opportunities in the sector

Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) Partnerships
  • To strengthen partnerships with key intermediaries and multipliers through the launch of new programmes:
  • The Digitalisation of TACs (Digi-TAC) Programme aims to support Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) to be digital at the core by:
    • Adopting digital solutions to improve and boost capabilities in key corporate functions
    • Training TAC secretariat staff to equip them with foundational digital capabilities to enable them to support their respective industries and members
  • The TAC Fellowship Programme for Leadership Development (TFP) will upskill TAC secretariat leaders and groom promising secretariat staff to build up the next generation of TAC leaders – through a specially designed executive leadership training course
  • The TAC Leadership Accelerator Programme (TLAP) – led by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), with support from Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) – will support TACs in attracting, recruiting, and developing outstanding mid-career professionals with relevant working experience to be effective TAC senior managers and beyond
