Singapore-China YRD (Jiangsu) Joint Innovation Call

Singapore companies keen to embark on joint innovation projects with Jiangsu-based companies can now receive support by participating in a joint call for proposals for Singapore-Jiangsu technological R&D projects.

The Singapore-Jiangsu Joint Innovation Call is implemented by Enterprise Singapore and the Jiangsu Department of Science and Technology (JSTD). We are looking for projects that result in the research and development of innovative products and applications, with commercialisation as the end goal.

The call is open to all technological and application areas, with a focus on:

  • Life Science
  • Information and Communication Technology
  • Green and Low Carbon Technology
  • New Materials
  • Advanced Manufacturing
About Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology (JSTD)
 

The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology (JSTD), is responsible for the scientific and technological development of the Jiangsu Province, as well as supporting the province’s plans for foreign affairs and international cooperation relating to science and technology.

Who can apply
 

The project consortium must involve at least one company from Singapore and one company from Jiangsu. Both companies should be independent from each other. Each project partner should contribute no more than 70% of the total project contribution.

All Singapore companies must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Be registered and operating in Singapore
  2. Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding
  3. Be in a financially viable position to start and complete the project
How to apply
 
  1. Applications are open from 1 June 2022 to 30 June 2022. The current call closes 30 June 2022, 1730 hrs (GMT+8). Interested Singapore companies should download and read the call document which contains all the relevant details about the joint call for proposals.
  2. Singapore companies are strongly advised, prior to submitting the application, to contact Enterprise Singapore for an eligibility assessment and project scope discussion. You may contact Enterprise Singapore via the email here.
  3. To apply, the Singapore company must download and complete the joint application form and submit to Enterprise Singapore via the same email address as above. The joint application form must be completed and submitted before 30 June 2022, 1730hrs (SGT) to be considered for funding.
