About this programme

Organised by Leave a Nest (LVNS), the GIA Tokyo Programme offers two tracks:

Acceleration Programme
This is targeted at Singapore-based startups across all sectors that are keen on entering the Japanese market. The programme is held virtually over three months.

Manufacturing Support Programme
This is targeted at Singapore-based startups and SMEs in advanced manufacturing that are keen to work with a Japanese super-factory for their manufacturing and/or prototyping needs. The programme is held virtually over three months.

Leave A Nest is a leading deep technology innovation platform in Southeast Asia, rapidly expanding across the region with the aim to discover and nurture startups in the deep science and technology space.


Key features

  • Mentorship by LVNS
    Participants get to be mentored and work with LVNS to map out and understand their needs in Japan via individual meetings.
  • Curated business meetings
    Companies will each get matched with relevant Japanese corporates and/or investors under the Acceleration Programme, and Japanese manufacturers under the Manufacturing Support Programme.
  • Pitching opportunities (Acceleration Programme)
    Companies under the Acceleration Programme will get to pitch towards Japanese corporates and investors.
  • Collaboration opportunities (Manufacturing Support Programme)

    Companies can expect support from LVNS on drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements and/or collaboration agreements if they get matched with a Japanese manufacturer.
