What is the Starburst Impact Program

The Starburst Impact program enables corporates and startups to collaborate on innovation with a focus on sustainability, supply chain & digitalization, with a sub-focus on aviation. The program supports overseas startups to establish presence in Singapore as they embark on an accelerated journey to start and grow with numerous potential opportunities including partnerships, fundraising, joint development, and even IPOs. Other than that, there will be downstream benefits and value creation for the local economy as there is strong support for sustainable ecosystem in Singapore. Participation in the program would enable startups to Raise funds more readily and with ease by leveraging on Starburst’s network of VC partners. One of Starburst’s portfolio startups has successfully turned unicorn status. Startups would be able to penetrate international and regional markets with our international network and global team’s support. Startups would gain exposure to global opportunities as startups scale their business internationally with Singapore as their base.

What is the Singapore Aviation Accelerator?

Under the Starburst Impact Program, Starburst has partnered with Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Airlines, SATS, AIRLAB, SIA Engineering and Changi Airports International to run the Singapore Aviation Accelerator.
 

As Singapore is the aviation hub of Asia Pacific, this accelerator will strengthen the country’s opportunity for future innovation, disruption, and partnerships relating to new technologies. Starburst’s renowned brand strength and reputation as a leader in the aerospace industry combined with Singapore’s innovative nature will contribute to the program’s success and lasting impact on the country’s next generation of aerospace and aviation technologies, talent pool of aviation and technology professionals, and accelerated startup ecosystem.

Participating early-stage startups will have access to funding and strong financial structures, top-tier mentorship from experts in the aerospace sector, strong support from Singapore Government regulators, and access to work with Asian VC companies for the seed stage and a global VC network for later business stages.
