If you’re a Singapore-based tech company seeking to connect with overseas business and tech communities, you can tap our Global Innovation Alliance (GIA).
Launched in 2017, the GIA aims to strengthen Singapore’s connections to major innovation hubs around the world, creating an exchange of ideas and knowledge to promote innovation. This creates more opportunities for students, entrepreneurs and businesses, to gain overseas experience, connect and collaborate with their overseas counterparts.
Together with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Ministry of Education (MOE), Enterprise Singapore works with various in-market partners such as accelerators, incubators, co-working space providers and universities to set up GIA innovation launchpads overseas. Startups can expand their businesses to GIA cities by connecting to mentor networks and relevant ecosystem players.
The GIA network currently spans 11 cities in eight countries – China (Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin and Munich), Indonesia (Jakarta), Japan (Tokyo), Thailand (Bangkok), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) and the US (San Francisco).
