Tap the wealth of experience and skills of eligible local Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) for your F&B business.
In this digital age, harness the expertise of those who are skilled in digital tools such as data analytics and Internet of Things (IOT) to gain key insights into your F&B business. This includes how to deliver better service with less manpower.
If you are keen to expand overseas, you will also need a strong team to take charge of market analysis, franchising management and business development to take your outlets abroad.
Offer these PMETs suitable job opportunities and get wage support of up to 40% (totalling S$25,200 for up to a year) through the Career Support Programme (CSP) by Workforce Singapore and NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
Here’s what the CSP covers.
Assess the fit and suitability of job seekers through a short-term work stint such as for back-of-house functions e.g. kitchen assistant, or front-of-house service staff, before offering them formal employment. Through the Career Trial Programme (CTP), you get an additional hiring avenue for local workers, while allowing jobseekers to try out more jobs at the same time.
Under the CTP, provide a monthly stipend of at least S$1,500 for full-time positions, and S$750 for part-time positions to eligible hires.
You get to receive wage support of 30% for up to 6 months, capped at S$5,400 per hire and S$2,700 per hire for part-time positions, for employers who hire Singapore Citizens who have been actively looking for jobs for 6 months or more.
Keen to participate in CTP? Find out how your F&B company can register.
Build a pipeline of global-ready talent for your business as you expand overseas with the Global Ready Talent programme (GRT). Expose young Singaporeans to overseas internships and management associate (MA) progammes so that they can support your overseas operations.
More information about GRT will be available in Q3 2019.
