Attract and Hire

Career Trial Programme

Assess the fit and suitability of job seekers through a short-term work stint such as for back-of-house functions or front-of-house service staff, before offering them formal employment. Through the Career Trial Programme (CTP), you get an additional hiring avenue for local workers, while allowing jobseekers to try out more jobs at the same time.

Under the CTP, employers will need to provide a monthly stipend of at least S$1,500 for full-time positions, and S$750 for part-time positions to eligible hires.

You get to receive wage support of 30% for up to 6 months, capped at S$5,400 per hire and S$2,700 per hire for part-time positions, for employers who hire Singapore Citizens who have been actively looking for jobs for 6 months or more.

Keen to participate in CTP? Find out how your F&B company can register.
