Retail Industry Digital Plan

Are you looking to digitalise your business? The Retail Industry Digital Plan (IDP), developed by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), is a basic guide to help your company identify relevant digitalisation areas, plug skills gaps and improve productivity through the adoption of digital technologies. It offers a range of pre-approved digital solutions to automate operations, enhance customer experiences, and facilitate in-store and online shopping. The plan also enables you to exploit advanced platforms like omni-channel and digital marketing to extend your reach and grow your brand.

SME Digital Tech Hub

Build up your company’s digital capabilities with the Digital Tech Hub. The workshops and seminars offered at the hub include digital transformation workshops for retail businesses. Experts will provide you with information in areas like data analytics, data protection, cybersecurity and internet-of-things (IOTs), as well as guidance on using advanced technologies.

Retail Best Practices Masterclass

Capitalise on market opportunities through the Retail Best Practices Masterclass Series, which provides you with access to world-class tools in decision sciences, data analytics, and insights to solve challenges more efficiently. This is a collaboration between the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC), with the support of Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Enterprise Singapore.

You can find out more about the available masterclasses here.

Start Digital

Start Digital is an initiative, in collaboration with IMDA, under the SMEs Go Digital programme to help SMEs adopt digital solutions right from the start.

New companies often prioritise business development and profit generation. As a result, operations management may take a backseat. By digitalising early, you can better focus and capture opportunities for your business without being constrained by day-to-day operations.

With our Start Digital Pack, SMEs can get access to modular digital solutions that will help accelerate their start up process and business growth. For more information, visit www.imda.gov.sg/StartDigital.

Digital Resilience Bonus

Digital Resilience Bonus (DRB) is an initiative, in collaboration with IMDA, under the SMEs Go Digital programme to improve the digital capabilities of SMEs.

As a pilot, eligible businesses from the retail and food services sectors will receive up to S$10,000 if you adopt baseline digital solutions such as PayNow Corporate and e-invoicing, as well as digitalise business processes, create online channels and implement data mining and analytic solutions.

Find out more here.

Heartlands Go Digital

The Heartlands Go Digital initiative provides retail and F&B enterprises in the heartlands with affordable solutions to kickstart your digital journey.
