International Trading Track (ITT) @ SMU

1. Overview

The International Trading Track (ITT) is an undergraduate programme under the International Trading Institute at Singapore Management University (ITI@SMU). It is set up to equip SMU undergraduates with the right skills for companies operating in the commodity trading sector.

The ITI@SMU is a collaborative initiative between leading industry partners in the trading sector, SMU and then IE Singapore (now Enterprise Singapore) in 2007. The institute aims to nurture talent in roles across the trading value chain and strengthen Singapore’s position as a trading and maritime hub.

a. Benefits

Backed by strong industry partners such as ABN Amro Bank, Shell, Wilmar and Total, this programme provides an up-to-date curriculum that is relevant to industry practices.

You will receive internship opportunities and enjoy facilitated networking and practical knowledge sharing sessions from mentors to supplement your classroom learnings.

b. Eligibility

The ITT programme is only available to finance major students entering their second year of undergraduate study at SMU.

2. How to apply?
