Our International Network in Business Excellence
Enterprise Singapore administers Singapore’s Business Excellence initiative. Singapore has been a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Business Excellence since 2009, an international appointment made by the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO). The APO is a regional inter-governmental organisation that aims to develop Asia Pacific socially and economically by enhancing productivity. Singapore is the first COE appointed by the APO.
Enterprise Singapore is also a founding member of the Global Excellence Model (GEM) Council. This platform opens up international opportunities for us to network and strengthen the BE Framework. The GEM Council comprises members from countries or regions with a well-established BE initiative, including Australia, Europe, India, Japan, Latin America, Mexico, and the US.
Member countries meet annually to share best practices and experiences, discuss trends, and work together on research and expert exchange. Some Singapore assessors have been invited to participate in overseas assessments.
