About this programme

The GIA Beijing Acceleration Programme is organised by DayDayUp (DDU) and designed to help Singapore-based technology startups and SMEs set up, test-bed, commercialise their solutions, and co-innovate with partners in Beijing through a series of highly customised programmes and activities. It will provide participants with access to the Chinese market, including introductions to potential investors, partners, customers, and talent resources.

It consists of two phases:

Phase 1
Preparing you for China (three days in Singapore)

Preparing participants for an immersion trip to China, DDU will conduct a three-day programme in Singapore to provide participants with preliminary knowledge about the Chinese market. The programme includes lectures by DDU’s experts on doing business in China, as well as 1-to-1 meetings between the participants and the DDU team. In addition to introducing participants to China, the programme aims to understand participants’ needs and curate a customised plan for each of them.

Phase 2
Exploring in-market China opportunities (eight days in China)

In Phase 2 of this programme, DDU will conduct an eight-day programme in Beijing, China, which comprises three days of group activities and five days of customised activities aimed to support participants in exploring in-market opportunities in China.

The first three days of group activities will include lectures, visits, engagement sessions with key contacts and a Demo Day. The next five days will consist of customised activities for each participant, including 1-to-1 meetings or curated visits based on the needs of the participant.

The total programme fee is S$4,800 per startup or SME, after support from Enterprise Singapore. To find out more about the programme, please visit www.dduwork.com, or contact Carmen Low, Day Day Up's Head of Community & Growth at carmen.low@dduwork.com.
