About this programme

The Yangtze River Delta (YRD), located in East China, is a key engine powering China’s economic as well as technology and innovation development. In 2021, the YRD region contributed over 24% of China’s national GDP and accounted for one-third of China’s foreign trade and investment. It is home to 67 unicorns and over 1,000 public-listed companies. In the last five years, the region accelerated significantly in areas such as digital economy, AI, advanced manufacturing, fintech, medtech, etc.

To enable innovation collaboration between Singapore companies and companies in the YRD region, Enterprise Singapore has partnered with the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM), Jiangsu Science and Technology Department (JSTD) and Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Department (ZSTD) respectively to launch the Singapore-China Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Joint Innovation Call Programme.


How to apply

Singapore companies and their project partner(s) must submit the joint proposals to their respective funding agencies during the application period to qualify.
