Career Conversion Programme (CCP) – Internationalisation Professionals

1. Overview

The Internationalisation Professionals Programme aims to equip Singaporeans with capabilities and know-how to excel in career opportunities within the region. This programme is a joint initiative by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).

a. Benefits

This 9-month programme helps mid-career professionals as well as unemployed professionals make career switches into sectors like wholesale trade and logistics. As employers, you are able to recruit experienced individuals to build your talent pool for your regional business expansion.

The recruited talent will attend 130 hours of facilitated classroom training/e-learning and structured OJT organised by SBF. The training programme will help candidates pick up relevant knowledge on the markets he or she will be in charge of. The remaining time will be spent working in the company and picking up sector specific skills, with help from appointed mentors in your company.

b. Funding

The Internationalisation Professionals programme is supported under WSG’s Career Conversion Programme (CCP). Salary and course fees can be defrayed through this scheme.

c. Eligibility

Participating companies must be registered or incorporated in Singapore and have regional job roles to offer to potential candidates.

Individuals must be Singapore Citizen or PR.
