To apply for SAC accreditation, you must submit documents to support the fulfilment of base requirements under the relevant standards for specific conformity assessment services via SACiNet.
Upon acceptance of the application, SAC will follow up with an onsite assessment of your audit, testing, calibration or inspection activities. This may include witnessing a demonstration of testing activities by your technical personnel and ensuring the implementation of documented procedures.
After your organisation has passed the assessment, you will be issued with a certificate which will have to be periodically renewed. Annual surveillance assessments and re-assessments will be conducted when the certificates expire or as necessary.
