: Manufacturing sector gets a leg up in talent attraction and development under Manufacturing 2030 (M2030) Careers Initiative

First announced by Minister for Trade & Industry Gan Kim Yong at the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Committee of Supply Debate 2022, the Manufacturing 2030 (M2030) Careers Initiative supports manufacturing companies develop attractive career options for Singaporeans. Having a steady local manpower pipeline equipped with the skills to work and progress in the sector will be critical for Singapore to maintain a strong manufacturing base. This is in line with the M2030 vision of increasing Singapore’s manufacturing value-add by 50% by 2030.
