Enterprise Sustainability Programme

Note:

We are looking to collaborate with interested industry partners to develop sustainability initiatives with us. If you are keen, you may find out more below.

.

Countries, global corporations and consumers are increasingly embracing sustainability and placing emphasis on sustainable practices. Against this backdrop, Singapore companies too recognise the need to integrate sustainability into their businesses in order to remain competitive in the local and global economy.

The Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) supports Singapore companies, especially our SMEs, to build capabilities and capture new opportunities. We are here to support your sustainability journey, no matter which stage you are at.

We will work with industry partners to develop sustainability initiatives and programmes, and foster a vibrant and conducive sustainability ecosystem.

Sustainability Courses

Get started on your sustainability journey by participating in the Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) – Sustainability Courses series.

The Sustainability Courses series aims to help local enterprises build awareness and knowledge of sustainability, covering sustainability trends, risks and opportunities, basic concepts and topics. Topics include decarbonisation, circular economy, sustainability reporting, carbon management and waste management. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from training providers upon completion of the courses.

The first series of the ESP - Sustainability Courses includes:

  • Foundations in Corporate Sustainability by Global Compact Network Singapore
  • ESG Essentials for SMEs – Kickstart your ESG Journey by PwC Singapore
  • Putting Sustainability into Practice for Business by Singapore Environment Council

The respective courses will commence in March 2022 at a fee of S$450 (not inclusive of GST) per eligible participant. Partners will be conducting regular runs over the course of the year. You may choose your preferred partner and register your interest with them to get the latest updates.

Eligibility conditions:

  • Course fee of S$450 (not inclusive of GST) per participant is only applicable to local companies1 and trade associations2, up to a maximum of 3 nominated participants per entity.
  • Participants must be nominated by their company or trade association for participation in this series of Sustainability Courses.
  • Each individual will only be supported to participate in these sustainability courses once.
  • The company or organisation is liable to make full payment for the course fees if it or its participants are found to be ineligible or fail to complete the course.

Interested partners who are keen to work with us on future series of sustainability courses can reach out to us here.

1Eligible companies need to be a business entity that is registered or incorporated in Singapore.
2Trade Associations (TACs) will need to fulfil the following criteria: a) registered with Registry of Societies (ROS) or Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA); and b) defined as a non-profit organisation.
