Economic ties between Singapore and Shandong have shown resilient growth despite global challenges. In the first half of 2024, total trade between Singapore and Shandong reached RMB 39 billion, increasing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25% since 2020.
Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance Mr Chee Hong Tat reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations between both sides at the Singapore-Shandong Collaboration Conference on High-Level Openness, where he gave the opening remarks as Singapore Co-Chairman of the Singapore-Shandong Business Council (SSBC).
