: Singapore and Zhejiang strengthen cooperation in digital economy and innovation with new partnerships

Economic ties between Singapore and Zhejiang continued to deepen with companies exploring new collaboration opportunities across diverse sectors. Singapore and Zhejiang companies signed 16 agreements at the 18th Singapore-Zhejiang Economic and Trade Council (SZETC) meeting, covering areas such as digital technology, biomedical, sustainability and innovation. The agreements reflected the multifaceted partnerships between both sides, and Singapore companies’ continued interest in the province. Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Ms Sim Ann and Zhejiang Vice Governor Mr Lu Shan co-chaired the SZETC meeting in Taizhou, Zhejiang. The meeting was attended by about 240 officials and business representatives from Singapore and Zhejiang.
