On 29 August 2023, Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Gan Kim Yong delivered the keynote address at the Africa Singapore Business Forum 2023.
Minister Gan spoke about how Singapore, as a node in Africa-Asia trade, could help catalyse closer ties between Southeast Asia and Africa. Singapore and African companies should also expand into each other’s regions to seek opportunities.
