: Opening Address by Managing Director Cindy Khoo at DBS Sustainability Day 2025 for SMEs & Mid-Cap Companies
On 19 August 2025, Ms Cindy Khoo, Managing Director of Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), delivered the opening address at DBS Sustainability Day 2025 for SMEs & Mid-Cap Companies. She shared that despite the weakened global growth trajectory and increasing business costs, Singapore remains committed to building a sustainable future for our economy. The Singapore Green Plan 2030 serves as our national roadmap to prepare for a ‘new normal’. Businesses play a huge role – by becoming more sustainable, they can contribute to the reduction of our carbon emissions and pursue new opportunities in the green economy.
She also congratulated the first batch of graduates of the DBS ESG Ready Programme and noted that they are well-positioned to reap green economy opportunities.
