On 25 November 2025, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and Minister for Health, Co-chair of the Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) delivered the closing remarks at the 15th SGCC meeting.
Minister Ong said that Singapore's cooperation with Guangdong has broadened over time, covering both strategic and specific areas. In this new global environment, he proposed five key areas for collaboration: economic rejuvenation, leveraging complementary strengths in global logistics, facilitating market access for high-tech sectors, promoting cross-border talent flows, and strengthening community ties.
