On 25 November 2025, Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for National Development and Trade and Industry, delivered remarks at the 15th Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) meeting.
MOS Tan noted the good progress made in key bilateral projects – the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) and the Singapore-China (Shenzhen) Smart City Initiative (SCI). He highlighted mutual interests between Singapore and Guangdong in fast-growing sectors including healthcare, sustainability, financial services, and innovation.
