: Remarks By Enterprise Singapore Chairman Lee Chuan Teck at the Nextgen Tech 30 Ceremony
On 16 September 2025, Mr Lee Chuan Teck, Chairman of Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) delivered remarks at the NextGen Tech 30 ceremony. He congratulated the 30 selected companies and reflected on Singapore's transformation over the past years from having no startup ecosystem to becoming Asia's premier innovation hub – ranking 4th globally in the 2024 WIPO Global Innovation Index and home to over 4,500 tech startups today.
Two priorities were emphasised for the next phase of enterprise development journey: deepening the market for growth capital and developing more bridges to help local companies access global markets, partners, and investors. EnterpriseSG stands ready to continue supporting the growth of Singapore’s startup ecosystem and enterprises alongside partners such as GraniteAsia.
