On 11 August 2026, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development, and Co-Chair of the Singapore-Liaoning Economic and Trade Council (SLETC), delivered the opening remarks at the 11th SLETC meeting.
Minister Masagos reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between Singapore and China, as he added that the SLETC has served as an important platform for advancing trade, investment and business collaboration between Singapore and Liaoning. He shared several key areas in which Singapore and Liaoning can look to deepen collaboration, namely Technology Innovation, Trade and Connectivity, Sustainable Development, and Modern Services.
