About this programme

Organised by SOSA, the GIA New York City Fintech Programme has two phases and companies can choose to attend either or both phases of the programme.

  1. Phase 1: New York Business Roadshow (5 days)

The New York Business Roadshow connects up to 10 Singaporean fintech founders with potential buyers and partners in New York City (NYC) through high-impact meetings. This exclusive, structured gateway to the US financial ecosystem puts you directly in the room with industry veterans and investors who can accelerate your international growth.

You will gain direct access to global financial leaders from the world's largest banks, asset managers, wealth advisors, and insurance firms, while positioning your company alongside top-tier VC funds and global capital markets. Beyond capital opportunities, you will connect with a thriving network of InsurTech, RegTech, and Fintech innovators shaping the future of finance, exploring commercial and partnership opportunities through curated introductions by SOSA's team.

Following the roadshow, each participating company will have the opportunity to move forward with a dedicated Go-To-Market project (details below), facilitated by SOSA’s team of Business Analysts.

  2. Phase 2: US Go-to-Market (GTM) Project (5 months)

GTM project aims to develop a tailored strategic US Go-To-Market plan for each startup, followed by a targeted sales effort to generate new business. This programme transitions from high-level exploration to targeted, results-driven sales execution.

Each GTM project is structured into three clear, actionable phases to ensure your product resonates with the US audience.

    1. GTM Strategy Definition – Strategic analysis to develop a tailored GTM plan and timeline for US expansion for the company.

    2. Digital Presence Adaptation – Tailoring and optimising the company’s digital assets for the target market in the US to boost brand recognition, credibility and effectiveness in engaging potential partners, clients, and industry stakeholders.

    3. Sales-as-a-Service (minimally 3 months) – Activating the GTM strategy to generate leads, qualify prospects and convert customers in the US. SOSA will act as an extension of each company’s team and provide a US-based sales professional to lead outreach in-market, with the company’s active involvement.
