About the courses

Get started on your sustainability journey and enhance your capabilities by participating in the Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) – Sustainability Courses.

The ESP – Sustainability Courses aim to help local enterprises and TACs build awareness and knowledge of sustainability in various key themes and areas.

  • Covers key sustainability concepts and topics, trends, risks and opportunities
    The ESP – Sustainability Courses consist of:
    • Foundational Courses – covering key sustainability topics in decarbonisation, circular economy, sustainability reporting, and waste management
    • Decarbonisation Courses – covering topics such as carbon accounting, setting of targets and plans, means of decarbonisation, and identification of key decarbonisation pathways
    • Sustainable Finance Courses – covering topics such as the background of sustainable finance and its instruments, and how enterprises can secure sustainable finance

    Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from training providers upon course completion.

Eligibility

  • Nominees from local companies¹ or TACs² from any sector
  • Each eligible entity will be supported for up to a maximum of 3 participants for each type of ESP – Sustainability Course³
  • Each individual will only be supported once for each type of ESP – Sustainability Course³
  • The company¹ or TAC² is liable to make full payment for the course fees if it or its participants are found to be ineligible or fail to complete the course


Fees

  • Foundational
    Course fee of S$450 per eligible participant (not inclusive of GST).
  • Decarbonisation
    Course fee of S$480 per eligible participant (not inclusive of GST).
  • Sustainable Finance
    Course fee of S$300 per eligible participant (not inclusive of GST).

  • Foundations in Corporate Sustainability by UN Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS)

    Build knowledge to jumpstart your sustainability journey with practical guidance, proprietary toolkits, and host of resources offered by the United Nations Global Compact. Gain insights into Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) trends, learn how to operationalise sustainability to enhance work functions, and improve business practices. Develop capabilities such as carbon and sustainability reporting to increase trust and credibility with stakeholders.

  • Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Essentials for SMEs – Kickstart your ESG Journey by PwC Singapore

    Build fundamental understanding of sustainability and access practical tools needed to integrate ESG principles into your business. Learn how to develop an ESG framework, explore case studies of companies that have embedded ESG into their strategy and operations, and undertake a practical exercise to identify your company's ESG readiness.
