Singapore companies keen to embark on joint R&D collaboration with Israeli companies can now receive support through the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D (SIIRD) Foundation.
SIIRD is a co-operation between Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) and the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) to promote, facilitate and support joint R&D collaboration between Singapore and Israeli companies across different industries. These joint projects should involve the development of new or enhanced products and technology with strong market potential.
If you are a Singapore-based company looking to collaborate on an R&D or pilot project with an Israeli counterpart, we welcome you to apply for SIIRD’s funding schemes. Feasibility studies can receive up to US$50,000 of co-funding support, R&D projects can receive up to US$1.5 million of co-funding support, while pilot projects can receive up to US$1 million of co-funding support. SIIRD’s programmes are open to projects from any industry sector, and to all Singapore companies that are registered locally.
Agritech or alternative proteins projects that are approved under SIIRD’s Strategic Sector Programme can receive up to US$3 million of co-funding support.
Applications for the R&D and Pilot Programme schemes are now open till 25 August 2022, while applications for the Strategic Sector Programme are open till 22 September 2022.
