RISE

RISE is Enterprise Singapore’s Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) partner for Bangkok, Thailand.

It is a regional corporate innovation accelerator that aims to establish Southeast Asia as the global hub for corporate innovation due to its eminent potential and impact towards society. With the mission to lift up Thailand and Southeast Asia through its corporate innovation platform, RISE works with corporates and governments through their accelerator, venture builder and corporate innovation program.

  • Stage 2: 1-week immersion in Bangkok

  • Ongoing mentorship and networking with Thai companies, government agencies and various corporates to understand digitisation strategies and explore co-innovation opportunities.

GIA Demand-led Programme – Tech Showcase

Alongside Enterprise Singapore, RISE also organises a GIA Demand-led Programme, Tech Showcase, which offers business and investment matching opportunities, allowing participants to form new collaborations with Thai corporates.

The GIA Demand-led Programme will give technology startups and SMEs the opportunity to submit solutions to problem statements generated by RISE’s network of corporates.

Typically run as a full-day programme, the Bangkok GIA Demand-led Programme has been revised as a result of the situation brought about by COVID-19, and will now take place virtually, with business matching taking place across the span of a month.

The GIA Demand-led Programme consists of the following segments:

  • Pitch Polishing

  • Successful applicants will attend a pitch polishing session and participants can learn from mentors on how to improve their pitch delivery. This segment will help participants better understand how to structure their pitches to address the problem statements of the corporates taking part in the programme.

  • Pitching to corporates

  • The GIA Demand-led Programme culminates in one-to-one private pitching session for participants and corporates. Participating technology startups and SMEs can pitch their ideas to corporates and look forward to business matching and networking opportunities. This segment will be focused on matching participants and their technology solutions with corporates that have a corresponding problem statement to be addressed.
