Use the Food Services Skills Framework to plan career pathways and trainings, to help your employees progress in their career in the food services industry.
The framework has seven tracks and covers 52 job roles, from food and beverage service, to pastry and baking. It lists existing and emerging skills and competencies your employees need in each job role, such as how to create an innovative dish with new culinary ingredients, or how to operate automated cooking equipment.
As an employee, the framework helps you find relevant training programmes to improve and master your skills in F&B.

Apply for the SkillsFuture Study Award to upgrade your F&B skills and progress within the industry.
If you have worked for at least three years in the food services industry, the award will recharge your career by deepening your existing skills. You can also explore new areas of expertise within the industry.
The award is a once-off disbursement of S$5,000 which you can use on top of other existing Government course fee subsidies.
