Singapore companies pursue growth opportunities in trade, connectivity and sustainability in Shandong amidst COVID-19 pandemic

Singapore-Shandong economic relations continued to grow strongly – from January to September 2020, bilateral trade between Singapore and Shandong reached US$3.6 billion, which was a growth of over 117% year-on-year. Against this positive backdrop, Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Transport Chee Hong Tat and Shandong Vice Governor Ren Airong convened and co-chaired the 22nd Singapore-Shandong Business Council (SSBC) meeting today.
