About this programme
Tech@SG provides company-level endorsement to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), reducing the risks of rejections for their Employment Pass (EP) applications.

Eligibility
To be eligible for Tech@SG, the individuals and the company must fulfill all the requirements.
For companies

Business entity incorporated in Singapore and registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)

Company has at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownershipFor companies with less than 30% local shareholding, please submit your application with the Economic Development Board (EDB) here.

Have a digital or technology offering as your core business product/service
This includes companies whose business model is built upon proprietary software and/or hardware, such as big data and analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Examples of such companies are Software-as-a-Service, e-commerce, digital media, biotechnology, and fintech companies.
Business activities under these categories will not qualify for support:
- Food establishments like coffee shops, hawker centres, food courts, bars, nightclubs or karaoke lounges
- Massage parlours or foot reflexology businesses
- Acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, or herbal dispensing businesses
- Employment agencies
- Geomancy agencies

Received funding (no minimum amount) from any of the programme-recognised investment firms within the last 36 months

Secured a total of more than US$10 million in funding within the last 36 months
For individuals

Applicant’s fixed monthly salary meets MOM’s minimum prevailing EP salary criteria of at least S$5,000*

Applicant must pass MOM’s background and due diligence checks**

Applicant must be a core team member
Applicant is considered a core team member if his/her functional role and seniority level falls into one the following categories:
Functional role:- Core business functions such as business development, human resources, finance, partnerships strategy, and general management
- Technical functions such as product management, product development, software engineering, solution architecture, product design, and data science
Seniority level:- Applicants should be in roles that are Manager-level and above. Applicants in Analyst, Associate, Executive, and Representative-level roles will not be considered as core team members.
How to apply
- Have a business entity in Singapore
- Obtained a Corppass account from ACRA
- Enabled the Enterprise Singapore Form SG e-service for your Corppass account
- Checked that your company meets the Programme’s eligibility criteria and
- Prepared all the relevant documents for the application
- If 30% or more of your company is owned by local shareholder(s):
Submit your application here.
We will review your application and inform you of the outcome within 10 to 15 working days*. - If less than 30% of your company is owned by local shareholder(s):
Submit your application to EDB here. - Register for an EP Online (EPOL) account.
If you do not already have an EPOL account, please register here.
It will take five working days to process your application. An EPOL account is needed to submit EP applications to MOM.
After receiving endorsement under the Tech@SG Programme, proceed to submit EP application(s) for your employees here. MOM will review your application(s) and inform you of the outcome within 10 working days*.
EP applications should be submitted within two years of your company being accepted into the Tech@SG programme.
- After ten successful applicants or two years of support, whichever occurs earlier, EnterpriseSG/ EDB will notify your company of the end of support.
