Key information about North China - 1

Established in 2007, the SSTEC is the second Government-to-Government collaboration between Singapore and China.

The SSTEC seeks to develop a model for a sustainable development amidst rapid urbanisation in China and beyond.

The Sino–Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co – a 50-50 joint venture between a Chinese consortium led by Tianjin TEDA Investment Holding Co and a Singapore consortium led by Keppel Group – is the master developer.

Established in 2003, the SLETC is an engagement platform for both Chinese and Singapore political leaders and businessmen to interact and exchange ideas.

Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, is the Co-chairman of SLETC.

Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance, is the Co-Chairman of SSBC.
